It’s festive time in the city, a time for laughter and smiles for you and all the family. It's time to relax, meet friends, enjoy great shopping, easy parking, music and choose that special festive way to say....Happy Christmas!

For wall to wall value and choice this Christmas why not visit our city centre retailers – situated within 4 zones throughout the city – Shipquay Street Quarter, Bishop Street Quarter, Waterloo Quarter and Spencer Road Quarter.

Derry City Council and City Centre Initiative have designed a Christmas ‘Festive Time’ Brochure to highlight some of the special offers and unique gift ideas available in our own City Centre this shopping season. It will include a list of festive events to be enjoyed by all from mid-November right through to the New Year which kicked off with the Christmas lights switch on and will include a magical performance of handles Messiah by Codetta, the City of Derry Youth Choirs with a 30 piece orchestra and outstanding soloists.

As always we have our popular Walled City Market promoting top quality produce and stall holders will be selling everything from the ingredients for a fresh organic dinner to last minute luxury gifts. The market will be available on the 6th, 20th and 21st of December.

This year’s campaign includes an exciting Christmas competition with prizes of weekend breaks and vouchers to spend at local hotels and Richmond Shopping centre. The brochures have been distributed throughout the City Centre and can also be requested on the Festive Time website – www.festivetime.com

The Festive Time campaign is supported by Derry City Council, Derry Visitor and Convention Bureau, Foyleside and Richmond Shopping Centre, City Centre Initiative and Independent Retailers along with DOE Roads Service.
